My girlfriend is an animal lover and has picked up “stray small animals” on the roadside and brought them home many times. I feel that she lured them in many cases!! So I always wanted to give her a cute pet. It was probably during the summer vacation the year before last. I had just started my internship and didn’t have much money. By chance, one day I walked into a dim pet store. Among a group of dog cages, I saw a small black dot. It looked quite pitiful. A cat was living with dogs, so I bought it. [I originally wanted to buy a dog.]
But my girlfriend didn’t notice it when she got home. Maybe it was too dark to see. (Heart – broken.) However, since she is an animal – loving person, she still liked it. (Satisfied.)
We named it Karry. (As for the reason, those old – timers who know will definitely understand.)
Perhaps because it was summer vacation and the pet store wasn’t clean, Karry had ringworm all over its body, which was very serious. There was even ringworm on the tip of its tail, and it had ear mites in its ears. Both ears were hairless. At first, we didn’t know much and took it to various hospitals and applied ointments. The little guy meowed in pain every time, and its pink skin could be seen. Although we don’t have children, it really hurt our hearts to see that.

However, it has a very docile personality. It doesn’t make a fuss or bark. I don’t know if it was frightened by living with a group of dogs since it was a kitten.
Later, we started to give it medicated baths.
But when it was almost six months old, it started to grow, and its body became bigger.
This photo was taken before it was neutered. I took it as a special memento. I’m sorry, son. I couldn’t keep your testicles. (Because my girlfriend has the final say at home, and I have to listen to her.)
Then we found that after being neutered, it became even more clingy. It can act cute and stick out its tongue. (This once again proves that my girlfriend was right.)
When we get home, it lies on the ground and asks to have its belly touched.
During the Spring Festival, we don’t live near the school anymore, so we have to take it home. I took it to my grandmother’s house in Shaoxing. Unexpectedly, the little guy was very popular with the elderly.
The cat’s ear – scratching fist. At this time, I found that my “son” is a “ground – based fighter” and can’t jump high.
Of course, when we took it back to our hometown, it was inevitable that it would be played with by children. Fortunately, the grown – up Karry has a fierce – looking face and looks like a big shot. The children are all afraid of it.
Ask around this street in Hangzhou, who’s the boss?
I’m taking over this spot.
Karry’s birthday is in May. The ringworm on its body has all healed. (Later, we found that applying a little iodine tincture would do. That kind of ointment was too harmful to the skin.) The hair on its ears has also grown back, but the ear mites relapse from time to time. However, overall, I’m still grateful to Karry’s “mother” (my girlfriend).
The mother – and – son duo made their first appearance in the photo.
After growing up, it changed again and became more reserved. It always looks thoughtful. Son, what’s wrong with you?
The answer is: Besides it, three more cats came to our home. (The Scottish Fold is a “sister” we raised later. The white cat and the Siamese cat are from the neighbor’s house.) And as the eldest brother, this is how it is:
Being disturbed while sleeping.
Taking a photo with the white cat, Ma Siyuan. It’s always out of focus. Did you even notice it was a group photo above?! [Forced smile]
As for why there are no group photos of our two cats, it’s because of the “second – pet” problem. (Annoyed)
When it turned one year old, we took it to get the second – year vaccination. The doctor said it was too fat and needed to go on a diet. (A bolt from the blue.) The following is Karry’s inner monologue:
I’ll never come to this store again.
I’m so sad. Am I really that fat?
So what if I’m fat? Dad likes me. It’s okay!!
This year, it snowed in Hangzhou, so we took it out to step on the snow.
It will be two years old after the Spring Festival. My dear son, Karry, grow up happily. Dad and Mom love you.
