Baobao, a rebellious red Shiba Inu (1)
The current cute photo is put at the front.
In fact, I have been delaying this answer for a long time, because I have been waiting for him to grow up, and answer it as a complete record.
In April 2017, I brought Baobao home,
a rebellious red Shiba Inu.
In fact, I hesitated for a long time when choosing
a dog. The reason why I finally chose Baobao is that he always sits quietly in the distance with a cold look.
Dogs that are too noisy are not suitable for a novice dog owner.
This is how he looked when he first came home.
At that time, I actually captured a picture of him smiling happily
. As soon as he came home, he peed. I don’t know if he was scared by the change of environment or he wanted to occupy a territory first, so he peed.
On the first night, I put him in a cage and let him sleep in it. The next day, I found that there was a half-dried dog feces quietly stepped on by him. I thought about it and thought that he might be unfamiliar with the environment, so he defecated in the cage, but the half-dead feces thing made me puzzled.

Because many people say that Shiba Inu is a clean dog and will not pee or poop where it sleeps, I will observe.
As a result, every morning for the next week, I can see a pile of poop in the cage, maybe half of it, maybe a whole piece.
So I had to start cleaning the cage early in the morning during that period. The first two weeks were really frustrating. Every day when I got home, my parents told me that Baobao had peed in such and such places again. Until Baobao was more than 4 months old, we didn’t dare to put the foot mat at the entrance of our kitchen, because once we put it, Baobao would pee on it. I put the mat in his cage and wanted him to sleep on it, so he peed on it and slept on it. Where is the Shiba Inu who loves cleanliness?
This was taken when I was training him to pee on the pee mat. The method adopted was to cover the entire balcony with pee mats. It’s really sad to think about it.
Later, he could be taken out, and toilet training went a little smoother. However, he would still pee at home from time to time, but he would not poop. It was not until 6 months that Bao Bao finally stopped peeing at home, which was really comforting.
This is the situation when he was just taken out for a walk and pooped, because his little butt was sticking out so much that I couldn’t help but take a picture. Some of my dog owner friends said that after raising a dog, they used to feel disgusted by poop, but after raising a dog, they had to pick up poop every day, so they became indifferent to it.
At the beginning, he had to run when he went out for a walk, and fortunately he was only a few pounds. This little look of disgust,
“I won’t go!! I just won’t go!”
He didn’t want to go up the stairs when he got home, and
he looked like he wanted to go out in the cage
. He was still very cute when he was a puppy. Now I miss the puppy period very much, but it is gone forever.
When he is still within the weighing range, he can be placed in the box in front of Mobike. Of course, if he exceeds the weight, he will still be left in the box.
