The story of my Shiba Inu, Chek Nao (1)
To be honest, I was hooked on Shiba Inu after reading this post. Thank you all Shiba Inu parents for sharing your stories :), I also welcomed a new member to my family – Chek Nao, a little dog whose changes are beyond imagination! Don’t ask me why I didn’t think carefully about the name. The child’s nickname is youyou. I just gave him this name on a whim. He has a great sense of rhythm when I take him for a walk. Haha. Without
further ado, the readers in the picture above are not here to listen to my nagging. I waited for three hours at the airport to get such a small box. After opening it, it was scared: What the hell! Who are you? Where are you taking me? Let me go! Fortunately, I was prepared and put on a leash.
How to say it? The first time we met, it was skinny and small, and it had a horrible stench. I didn’t care about that and hugged the scared puppy tightly after getting in the car. Soon it found that I had no hostility and calmed down and fell asleep. I
carried it home on my back! Look how small it is! It
didn’t even dare to go down the stairs.
It found the snacks I prepared.
Its ears were so big! I basically didn’t sleep on the first night. It was scared and moved around in the cage. It made a low hum from time to time. I kept looking at this little guy in the room. It also looked at me curiously and nervously.
After I got home, it always looked at me like this. It looked pitiful every day. I fed it and patted its head and it squeaked. It slowly built up trust and began to take pictures of its smiling face. It
was allowed to take a bath after one week at home. It finally didn’t stink anymore!

So we had our first selfie! ^ ^
A three-and-a-half-month-old Shiba Inu
is really ugly. Tutu looked like this when he was two months old
! Seller, did you send me the wrong dog?!
On the first day at home, it defecated and peed everywhere on the mat. I began to understand the difficulty of being a shit shoveler. . .
From the second day, Nao learned to defecate and urinate at designated places. Although he would occasionally defecate in the wrong place, I was relieved because his excrement was really, really, really smelly!
He would also get carsick and vomit. . . His farts were also very loud and smelly. . .
I still forgave him. After all, he was a little
bit overwhelmed when he acted cute. The days of being a shit shoveler passed quickly. Nao grew very fast at the rate of one pound per week . Comparison picture of one month after he came home
. Chai’s personality is similar to what is said on the Internet. Nao is not a clingy puppy. Although he will act like a spoiled child, he is very quiet most of the time. Most of the time, he will lie two meters away from you and watch you call him before he comes.
And he is really a dog that doesn’t like to bark. He barks very few times. When he needs to express his emotions, he chirps in a low voice… Just like a little bird. Sit down, lie down, shake hands, these commands are easy to teach, but it won’t help you pick up things. If you want to play with it by throwing a ball, it will look at you with a confused face. You are just throwing and picking up things stupidly, and it still looks at you with interest… OK… You win, I won’t teach you anymore, just be happy.
My dog treats the call of the shit shoveler completely according to his mood. Often I can’t call it, so I have to take a plastic bag and squeeze it hard (it thinks I opened the snack bag), and it will come running. You little dog pretending to be deaf and dumb, I will pinch you every day when you grow a big face!
Four to five months ago, I experienced the awkward period of Shiba Inu. What is the awkward period? It is the period of molting and crazy hair loss. I suspect that I have a sheep,
but it is actually much more than this. Every day, the box of dog hair in the sweeping robot is full of dog hair. After crazy hair loss, you will welcome an ugly dog you have never seen before…
It’s embarrassing to take it for a walk. People walking golden retrievers and border collies see Nao coming and immediately turn around and walk away, fearing that my local dog will bite them. I met more than one person who said: Your local dog has a nice fur color. . Well, why did you buy a local dog. Hi! Chinese native dog. Your dog must cost hundreds of dollars. Well, raising a Shiba Inu requires you to be patient and
wait for your own dog to transform
. Well, no matter how rustic the dog you buy is, you have to endure it
because it is too ugly. I didn’t take too many photos. I only left this comparison photo. The left one is after hair removal and the right one is before hair removal.
Nao’s own way of acting cute. I should mosaic it. ♀️
Or just cover my face.
The crazy hair loss period lasted for about half a month. Nao is already six months old. One day I gave him a bath and found that his hair was much denser. He seemed to look much better in photos.
