The two Shiba Inus at my house love to be clean (1)
I came here after reading Feng Er’s answer. To surpass him, the oldest Shiba Inu on Zhihu.
These two at my house are actually related to Feng. One is his son, who came to my house when he was three months old and is now five years old. The other is one of his many concubines in the harem, who was adopted from the kennel at the age of seven and will soon celebrate her tenth birthday.
Look, they are the two downstairs. The one in the middle is my biological son, and their younger brother is now one year and five months old
. Let me show off the baby first. This is Lingling, you can’t tell that she is ten years old.

Yunho is the little angel who sleeps
with the baby. Accompanying and coaxing the baby is basically Yunho’s job. He and his younger brother are good friends and can even wear the same clothes as his younger brother. Don’t ask me about Lingling, she is an old man and doesn’t want to be with little brats
. Let’s get back to the point.
First of all, raising a Shiba Inu will reduce the chance of having a similar face to someone else, at least in mainland China. It is also a niche dog breed. When you take it out, 99% of the time, you will be praised for its good looks and clean appearance, which greatly satisfies your vanity~ Although most of the comments are about this little dog…
The reason I chose the Shiba Inu was that it has short hair and erect ears, looks like a dog. If you raise it in the city, it doesn’t need to bark like a Teddy, which disturbs people. I really don’t expect it to be able to guard the house and protect its owner. It’s good enough if thieves don’t get lost. It doesn’t need to be too big, as there is not much space for activities in a building. I feel sorry for it if I raise a large dog. Of course, the most important thing is that I weigh less than 100 pounds, and an Alaskan dog would probably be able to throw me off~ Yunho, who weighs only 20 pounds, once pulled me down, but fortunately it had just snowed and I wasn’t injured… Taking all the above into consideration, the Shiba Inu meets my aesthetic requirements very well~\(≧▽≦)/~
But when I chose it, I only saw that it had short hair, but I didn’t expect it to have double hair. The molting period is simply a disaster. You can get a wash basin just by combing it. I took photos before, and I will find them one day to make up.
Shiba Inus basically have no bad breath and body odor, and don’t have much saliva. They love cleanliness. My two would rather hold it in for a whole day than pee at home, unless they have diarrhea or something like that, and there is no one at home. When someone is at home, he will ask for help first. Of course, I have also heard of babies who urinate and defecate anywhere at home or even on the bed. I personally think that they are all individual cases. Oh, by the way, on weekends, I occasionally stay in bed and get lazy until noon, and the two of them will sleep together.
If you don’t wake him up, he won’t get up~ In terms of personality, Shiba Inus are relatively independent and opinionated, as the saying goes, they have a positive mind. So people who are raising dogs for the first time should be cautious. If you want to find a clingy and obedient pet dog, you should let Shiba Inu go. I think Shiba Inu is more of a companion dog, yes, a companion. When I was pregnant, I would get up in the middle of the night and the person next to me would be sleeping soundly, but Yunho would jump out of bed, walk to the bathroom with me in a daze, and then wait until I was relieved and then walk back to bed with me in a daze. He was really in a daze, and it was a subconscious behavior. Because I was the person closest to him, it was natural for him to protect me.
