My Siamese cat has been a whirlwind of surprises and challenges, with its ever – evolving personality keeping me on my toes. From its early days as an adorable, clingy kitten to its current status as a mischievous and sometimes stubborn feline, every moment with it is an adventure.
One of its most persistent naughty habits is rummaging through the trash. No matter how many different types of trash cans we bought, it always managed to find a way to open them. It seemed to have a special talent for sniffing out the contents and making a mess. After countless attempts, we finally found that a pedal – operated trash can was the only solution to keep it at bay. Whenever I caught it in the act of rummaging, I would give its bottom a light spank, hoping it would learn its lesson. But instead of stopping, it would continue its search. I even resorted to confining it in a cage for five minutes, but when I heard its pitiful meows, I couldn’t help but let it out. To my frustration, as soon as it was free, it dashed straight back to the trash can and started tipping it over again, all while looking at me as if it were doing it on purpose. And when I approached, ready to scold it, it would flop onto the floor, showing off its belly in a bid to charm its way out of trouble.

But its most infuriating act came during a family meal. Just as we were sitting down to enjoy our food, it leaped onto the table and, to our horror, stepped right into one of the dishes. I was so angry that I gave it a good spanking, my hand stinging from the effort. Usually, I only dare to spank its bottom, being careful not to hurt it elsewhere. After the scolding, it wandered off to play on its own. But then, in a flash, it jumped from the bed onto the table, stomped on all the dishes with lightning speed, and then darted under the bed to lick its paws. My boyfriend and I were left staring at each other, completely dumbfounded, as if we had just witnessed something unbelievable. It was clear that this was its way of getting back at me for punishing it.
This Siamese cat, born in late April under the sign of Taurus, recently got a Tabby Siamese girlfriend. Raising such a smart cat requires thorough mental preparation. Their intelligence means they have a highly malleable personality, but perhaps because I spoiled my cat since it was a kitten, it has grown up to be incredibly stubborn. It seems immune to both scolding and punishment. Just yesterday, in a moment of frustration, I said, “If you keep annoying me, I really don’t want to keep you anymore.” To my shock, it immediately pounced at my head and tried to bite me. I quickly reassured it, saying I was just joking, terrified that I had truly upset it.
When my cat was a kitten, we fed it ordinary cat food. Even at four months old, it remained small and delicate. It was only after consulting a friend that I realized the importance of high – quality cat food. We switched to Acana, and soon enough, it started growing rapidly, developing a sturdy frame and even showing signs of “cheek puffing.” Recently, I visited a household with two Ragdoll cats and had a long discussion about cat care. I couldn’t help but feel that my cat’s life had been rather humble in comparison. So, we upgraded its diet once again. Now, it enjoys Orijen cat food, a can of Primal’s main – course wet food every day, and some homemade cat meals bought from Taobao, which I feed it every one or two days. Thanks to this improved diet, my cat is now in excellent health and rarely gets sick. While making raw cat food from scratch is ideal, it’s too time – consuming for me. And the pre – made raw cat food sold online is prohibitively expensive. For those who have the time and resources, I highly recommend making homemade cat food to ensure your feline friend gets the best nutrition.
Through all the chaos and challenges, my love for my Siamese cat only grows deeper. Each of its mischievous acts is a part of its unique charm, and every moment spent caring for it is a testament to the strong bond we share. Despite the difficulties, I wouldn’t trade this furry troublemaker for anything in the world.
