Time passes quietly. In the blink of an eye, the Siamese cat at home has accompanied me for almost a month. I still remember when it first came, it was only two months old, a tiny little thing, but it showed an amazing ability to adapt quickly, as if it had already decided that this was its home and I was the one it wanted to be with for life. From that moment on, my life was completely changed by this little guy, and I embarked on a wonderful journey full of joy and surprises.
This Siamese cat is the epitome of a clingy cat. Wherever I go, it follows closely, just like a little tail. When I’m cooking in the kitchen, it squats at my feet, curiously staring at the pots and pans; when I’m working at the desk, it jumps onto the table and lies beside me quietly, occasionally rubbing its little head against my hand. This kind of inseparable companionship makes me feel full of warmth and dependence.

It is also an out – and – out glutton, with a strong desire for food. Since it tasted a cat treat once, it has been obsessed. As soon as it sees me open a snack bag or smells the aroma of food, it will immediately run over and keep meowing around me. Its eager appearance seems to be saying, “Give me something to eat quickly, I’m starving!” However, precisely because of its gluttony, it has caused me a lot of worry. After eating the cat treat for the first time, it started having diarrhea. To treat it, I spent a lot of energy and money on injections and medications. Later, I realized that for it, the simplest cat food is the healthiest choice.
In addition to being gluttonous, it is also a chatterbox, meowing constantly throughout the day. In the morning, it wakes me up with its meows; when playing, it meows excitedly while playing; and even when resting quietly, it will let out a few soft meows from time to time, as if sharing its mood with me. Its meows are sometimes crisp, sometimes gentle, adding a lot of lively atmosphere to life.
In terms of diet, I initially followed my roommate’s recommendation and fed it Orijen cat food, paired with N1 cat litter. My roommate raises a American Shorthair and a British Shorthair, and influenced by her, I stepped into the world of cat – raising. Although Orijen cat food is indeed of high quality, making its fur soft, smooth, and almost non – shedding, and it feels great to pet, considering the economic factor, I still plan to change its cat food later.
As time goes by, under my careful care, the Siamese cat has gradually changed from its thin and small appearance when it first came to a round and lovely one. Seeing it gain weight little by little, I feel a great sense of accomplishment. Its sleeping posture is also very interesting. It especially likes to lie on my arm or curl up on top of my head. Its soft body and even breathing make me feel extremely warm.
Of course, the Siamese cat also has a naughty side. It is lively and active, running at an extremely fast speed, with its figure like a blur. Sometimes it runs around like a puppy, or moves as nimbly as a mouse. It also loves to scratch and bite things. My hands and furniture are all victims of its “claws and teeth”, often making me angry and helpless. But surprisingly, it seems to understand my tone.
Even more delightfully, new little lives have arrived in the family. My tabby Siamese female cat gave birth to cute kittens. Watching the kittens grow up day by day, it’s like seeing what their parents looked like when they were little. These days spent with the Siamese cats are filled with laughter, troubles, surprises, and touching moments. They have left a deep mark on my life in their unique way and have become an indispensable part of my life. I look forward to continuing to write more beautiful stories with them in the future and spending every warm day together.
