In the world of cats, each feline has a unique personality, and my encounter with Lulu seems like a destined fate. During my search for the perfect cat, I learned many stories about the differences in cat personalities, deeply understanding that every cat is a distinct individual. Because of this, I especially hoped to find a cat that was already grown up, had good living habits, and had completed socialization training, and that’s when Lulu entered my life.
Lulu is a retired male cat from a cat – cuddling area. He is almost two years old, and I brought him home when he was just one year old. The first time I saw Lulu, his eyes, as blue as precious sapphires, instantly captivated me. In the environment of the cat – cuddling area, in order to get delicious cat treats, he had already become accustomed to actively approaching people. When I got close to the cabinet, he would immediately come running happily. As long as I called him softly, he would respond without hesitation. He was so bold that when I picked him up, he didn’t resist at all. His gentle and well – behaved appearance made me like him at first sight.
After bringing Lulu home, he only hid under the bed for less than three hours before starting to explore this new home bravely. I was pleasantly surprised to find that he was extremely intelligent, as if he could understand my emotions and intentions. I changed his name, and unexpectedly, in less than two days, he remembered that his name was “Lulu.” No matter where I was in the room and called him, he would immediately come running, and his eager and cute appearance always warms my heart.
Lulu has a very clingy personality, yet he is quiet in the most perfect way. The sofa at home remains intact, and he has never accidentally knocked my figurines off the shelf. At night, he is inseparable from me, either nestling in my arms or quietly staying beside my pillow. When I go to the toilet, he waits patiently at the door; when I lie down and scroll through my phone, he lies quietly beside me, looking at the screen curiously; when I play games or watch TV, he lies comfortably on my lap or sits on the table, quietly accompanying me, never naughtily stepping on the keyboard or biting the charger cables.
Lulu is also a “quiet and handsome guy.” He is very quiet on ordinary days. Only when I get home from work does he excitedly chatter a few times, as if telling me how much he has missed me. Through the home monitor, I can see that when he is alone at home, he either enjoys sunbathing or sleeps soundly, never making random noises. His meows are also very special, soft and sweet, like a cute “baby voice,” and I rarely hear him make a rough “duck – like” sound. Every morning, he waits quietly before I get up. Once I’m up, he immediately follows me and doesn’t want to leave my side for a single step.
As a short – haired cat, Lulu has another advantage that saves me a lot of trouble – he sheds very little hair. This spares me from the hassle of constantly cleaning up cat hair and allows me to enjoy close contact with him even more.
Although Lulu is a retired cat from a cat – cuddling area, with his unique charm, he has become an indispensable part of my life. His friendliness, intelligence, quietness, and docility immerse me in happiness and warmth every day. I’m extremely grateful to have met Lulu, and in the days to come, I hope to always be by his side and create more wonderful memories together.
