In my life, there is an existence like a little angel, my Siamese cat – my dearest “girl.” The six years spent with her have been filled with warmth and love every moment. She has long become an indispensable part of my life and my most precious family member.
The girl’s companionship to me extends into every corner of life. Even when I go to the toilet late at night, she will follow me, fighting against her sleepiness. Her once – bright big eyes are almost narrowed into slits, but she still stubbornly stays by my side, as if telling me, “Don’t be afraid, I’m here with you.” And every night at 10:30, she will squat at the bedroom door on time, making “ao ao” sounds, with a firm and persistent voice. She is just like a convenient little alarm clock, reminding me that it’s time to rest. With such a considerate her by my side, every ordinary moment in life becomes extremely beautiful.
The girl’s intelligence is truly astonishing. My husband and I occasionally have disputes, and she can always keenly sense the change in the atmosphere. If we are just joking around, she will lie quietly by the side, watching with curious big eyes; once she realizes we are serious, in less than three seconds, she will quickly hide and disappear without a trace. But if my husband makes me angry unilaterally, she will immediately turn into a “protective little guard,” chasing my husband around the house, from the living room to the bedroom, determined to “teach him a lesson.” Seeing her serious look of protecting me, no matter how angry I was, it would dissipate instantly, leaving only touch in my heart.
In terms of diet, the girl has her own unique preferences. She is extremely fond of cat food, but she shows no interest in the canned food and dried small fish that other cats love. This often makes the “delicacies” I carefully prepared go unnoticed, and I don’t know how to express my motherly love. However, to my surprise, our tastes are very similar. Just like me, she is fascinated by the unique taste of durian, loves to drink pure milk, and is also fond of ham and beef jerky. Every time I see her enjoying these foods with relish, I feel an extraordinary sense of intimacy, as if there is a special bond between us.
The girl’s cuteness goes far beyond this. Her living habits are becoming more and more like mine. When sleeping, she must have a pillow and cover herself with a small quilt, looking as cozy as a delicate little girl. What’s more interesting is that her sleeping posture is exactly the same as mine. My husband once told me with a laugh that one morning, he saw the girl and me lying in the same bed, sharing the same pillow and having the same posture. The scene was both warm and hilarious. This is probably the magic of spending a lot of time together, making us more and more alike.
For the girl, a soft bed is her favorite, and I also pay special attention to this, always wanting to give her the best. In my heart, raising her is just like raising my own daughter, and I pour all my love and care into her. This deep affection even influenced my life – important event. When taking wedding photos, I had only one requirement: my girl must be included. Because in the most important moment of my life, how could I leave her out?
