Lively and Charming Siamese Cats: The Daily Life of Baozi and Dousha

Among the many lovely cats in my home, two Siamese cats stand out – Dousha, a blue – point female, and Baozi, a lilac – point male. Siamese cats are known for being easy to raise, but they are also lively, curious, and full of energy, and Baozi and Dousha perfectly embody these characteristics.

Baozi and Dousha seem to have an endless supply of energy. Whenever they are let out together, they can start a “carnival” that lasts all night. They run around the house, jumping up and down, leaping from the sofa to the bookshelf, and then from the windowsill to the table. The noise they make often leads to complaints from neighbors. Especially Baozi, as the male, his energy is astonishing. He always chases Dousha around the house, looking cheerful and eager, as if engaged in an endless game of chase.

In terms of diet and health, Baozi and Dousha have different situations. Baozi has a relatively weak stomach. When he first came to my home, there were problems with his diet. The previous owner had been feeding them Fromm Green cat food. After I changed it to Acana, Baozi started having diarrhea. Seeing him uncomfortable, I felt very distressed and quickly gave him medicine. After a period of conditioning, he finally recovered. Dousha, on the other hand, is extremely clean, which brought me some “small troubles.” Siamese cats are naturally clean and will promptly clean up their excrement, so when there was soft – formed feces at home, it was hard for me to figure out who had left it. It wasn’t until one day when I saw Baozi licking his bottom after having diarrhea that the mystery was solved. Dousha’s cleanliness is well – known. She is constantly grooming her fur and was the first among the cats of the same age to vomit up a hairball. Whenever I look at her, I always see her attentively licking herself, as if carefully maintaining her “image.”

Compared to Baozi, Dousha is more timid. She came from a litter of five kittens. As the only female, she was bullied by her four brothers. When she first arrived at my home, she always hid from me, full of vigilance. But I didn’t give up. I spent a lot of time and energy accompanying and taking care of her. Gradually, Dousha began to trust me, stopped hiding, and became very clingy. Now, she will actively rub against me, seeking strokes and company, which makes me very gratified.

Despite their lively nature, Baozi and Dousha have charming appearances. At almost seven months old, their muscular lines are distinct, and their figures are vigorous, just like two little leopards, full of strength and beauty. Baozi weighs 8 pounds, and Dousha weighs more than 6 pounds. They are healthy and strong. I am truly grateful to their previous owner, who was very responsible. The owner raised them until they were four and a half months old, and only let me take them home after ensuring they were healthy and had received two rounds of vaccinations.

As time passes, the fur colors of Baozi and Dousha have changed a bit. They have become darker than before, although their bodies are not too dark yet. Every change has become a beautiful memory in the process of my life with them. These two Siamese cats, although sometimes naughty and causing me a lot of “trouble,” their liveliness, cuteness, and unique personalities have long become an indispensable part of my life, bringing me endless joy and warmth.
