My cat, Pianpian, is truly a bundle of joy and surprises. Let me start by sharing a little video of this little foodie. In the video, you can see how he seems to find his own tail the most delicious thing in the world, which is really hilarious.
Every day when I come home, he’s like a little shadow, following me everywhere I go. It’s so funny that sometimes when I go to the bathroom, he even jumps onto the toilet and squeezes himself behind me. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry at his clingy behavior. In the early morning, he comes to disturb me. He purrs and steps on my hair, and it’s usually right when my alarm is about to go off. He’s so punctual that he can be considered a living alarm clock.
Pianpian has a real sweet tooth. He loves yogurt, milk powder, and canned food. He’s such a picky eater that after eating a certain type of cat food for a while, his appetite visibly decreases. It can be a bit of a headache trying to find the right food for him. His favorite toys are plastic bags, paper balls, cat teaser wands, and small balls. I’ve learned that I must put away his toys before going to bed, or else I’ll be woken up in the middle of the night by his playful antics.

What makes Pianpian even more special is that he can sense my emotions. Once, when I was feeling down and crying on the sofa, he walked over quietly and stayed by my side. His presence was so comforting and heartwarming. It made me realize how much he cared about me.
Now, let me record some of his growth moments. The first photo was taken on the day I brought him home from the store. He was just over two months old, and he was incredibly cute and fluffy. On the way home, he got carsick and had an accident, so his hind legs and bottom were covered in feces. But since he had just arrived and couldn’t be bathed immediately, I had to endure the smell for two long days. It was really a challenging time.
The second time I took him out for a vaccination, he had another “accident” in the car. After that, I learned my lesson and made sure to keep him hungry for a whole night before taking him out again. The photo after his bath shows how fluffy his fur is. He looks so adorable and fresh.
When he was three months old, he tried to act fierce and let out a “meow.” But his cute little face made it hard to take him seriously. At four months old, his black eyeliner was so distinct and added to his charm. There was a photo of him looking deep in thought, as if he was contemplating some great mystery.
Then there’s the commemorative photo I took when he reached a weight of 5 pounds. With my “exquisite” filter skills, he looked like a handsome young cat. His beauty was truly worthy of the name “Pianpian” I gave him. However, now that he’s almost six months old, my handsome Mr. Pian is about to become “Mr. Pian the neutered cat.” I can’t help but smile mischievously at the thought.
Pianpian has become an essential part of my life. His cute and funny behaviors, his ability to comfort me when I’m sad, and his growth over time have all left deep marks in my heart. Every day with him is a new adventure, filled with laughter, love, and sometimes a bit of chaos. I’m so grateful to have him by my side, and I look forward to watching him grow and bring more joy to my life in the future.
