In March this year, a special cat entered our lives. It is Cream. At that time, it was about two years old and was given to our family by someone else. When it came, we didn’t know what its previous name was. Seeing its extremely cute and milky appearance, we named it Cream. Surprisingly, it quickly accepted this new name, as if this name was tailor – made for it.
Speaking of the experience of raising Cream, cats of the silver – shaded breed really have a very high appearance value. No photo can fully show its true beauty and cuteness. Its silver – gray fur is delicate and soft, shining with a charming luster in the sun. However, silver – shaded cats have a more obvious characteristic, that is, they shed a lot of hair. To solve this problem, we later bought lecithin for it to eat and often combed its hair. After a period of effort, the hair – shedding situation has been greatly improved.
After getting familiar with us, Cream is extremely clingy. Every day, it wishes to stick to its owner all the time, like a little baby who will never grow up. It will closely follow us and walk around the house. When we sit down, it will jump onto our knees and find a comfortable position to nest. When we sleep, it will also quietly climb onto the bed and curl up beside our pillows. It seems that only in this way can it feel at ease.
Cream is very smart and can basically understand our requests to it. If we accidentally make it angry, it will turn its head aggrievedly and ignore us. Its appearance is extremely cute. The character of silver – shaded cats is really good, and Cream is no exception. It never scratches the sofa. Although it likes to climb up and down everywhere, it will never knock down anything. It is also very friendly to people, never extending its claws or biting. Every day, the happiest moment for us is when we come home from work and open the door to see Cream’s cute appearance happily greeting us. At that moment, the day’s fatigue will disappear instantly, and our hearts are full of happiness.
Once, we put its small quilt around it like a cape. Its appearance was extremely funny. It sometimes showed a melancholy expression and sometimes a surprised expression, as if exploring this new “fashion style”, which made us laugh.
In August, a very worrying thing happened. Cream fell from upstairs. Fortunately, it was lucky and not seriously injured. After being rescued in time, it survived. During the recovery period, its eyes looked very dull, which made us very distressed. However, after surviving this danger, Cream became even more clingy than before. Perhaps it cherished the time with us even more after experiencing this danger.
Now, Cream and its “husband” have a crystallization of love and gave birth to a kitten, an only child. Interestingly, the fur of this kitten is a bit black. We are also very curious about what’s going on, but as long as it is healthy, it’s okay.
Raising a cat like Cream is really extremely happy. Being able to meet such a cute and good cat, we really feel that it is a blessing we cultivated in our previous lives. Its existence makes our home full of warmth and joy, and every ordinary day becomes different because of it. We will always take good care of Cream and its baby, accompany them through every beautiful moment, and cherish this hard – won fate.
