Sesame is almost one year old now, and his face and body are getting rounder and rounder.
At such a young age, he’s already close to 10 pounds. As a “cat mom,” I can’t help but worry about his future health.
This silly boy even got water on his mouth while drinking.
Celebrating New Year’s with me, enjoying a snack frenzy.
Studying? Not a chance.
So, I happily started petting the cat instead.
A ball of fur rolled up from the shedding monster.
He absolutely loves his winter cat bed.
Quietly napping with me on the bed.
Every night before bed, he curls up next to my pillow for a while before moving to his cat bed at the foot of the bed.
The week after his neutering, wearing the cone.
For a while, he kept bringing me things to play with him.
The ultimate “lifted butt” cat who loves getting his butt patted.
A purring “emperor engine” when petted—he’s very well-behaved during nail trimming and brushing, never struggling or scratching me.
Even when I scold him for misbehaving, he doesn’t fight back, afraid of hurting me. He always knows to keep his claws tucked in when playing with me.
I hope my furry baby and everyone else’s can stay healthy and free from illness or disasters in the new year!

September 8
I’ll keep all the cat videos and photos here so I can come back and look at them later.
The little guy is already over four months old and has grown to over five pounds. A small platform he used to love is now almost too small for him.
Maybe because he’s growing up, he doesn’t sleep with me as much anymore (cries), preferring to sleep on the floor by the bed.
I spent a long time editing this photo.

This is the small platform he loves but is almost too big for now.

I hope my little cat grows up healthy. To be honest, I’ve already started thinking about what kind of cat to get next—it’s so addictive!
August 10 Update
Sesame will be four months old by the end of this month. The little guy is already four pounds and getting rounder. I’m starting to worry he might become overweight.
Ever since he peed in the bathroom shower, he’s been running to the shower to pee every time he enters the bathroom. The pee gets on his feet, which is driving me crazy.
What should I do??
Update
I named him Sesame. Sesame has grown a lot recently—his head looks rounder, and I can finally feel some meat on him!
He loves sleeping on my stomach or next to me. No matter how much I pet him, he never gets angry. Sometimes when he misbehaves and tries to run away, I grab his tail to pull him back, and he never bites.
Sesame is such a little angel! Except for his poop, which is really smelly. Every time he poops, I have to wipe his butt and feet. Why is his butt smelly too? Ugh.
Once, after pooping, he probably stepped on it while burying it and then jumped on me. I smelled something off, and sure enough, he got poop on my clothes.
Can someone please tell me why his butt and paws are so smelly?!
Earlier Story
Yesterday, while walking through a night market, I met a guy selling British Shorthair Blue and White kittens from his own cat’s litter. His blue cat had mated with another British Shorthair.
The one I got had the best appearance and cost 700 yuan. The other three were also good, priced at 600 yuan each.
When I reached into the cage, only this one reached out to hold my hand. I knew then that we were meant to be.
Luckily, I made the decision quickly, paid, and went to a nearby pet store to buy supplies. While shopping, the seller told me several people had wanted to buy my cat.
On his first night at home, he was very lively and not shy at all, jumping onto the bed to sleep with me after a while.
I absolutely adore him.
