The lives of my Siamese cats, Jiaxin and Meimei, are a never – ending source of amusement, warmth, and surprises. As they continue to grow and evolve, they bring more and more charm into my life, along with a fair share of hilarious moments and heart – warming stories.
Jiaxin, once a slender Siamese, has now completely transformed. It has become so plump that it looks more like a British Shorthair blue cat than its original self. With its round face and chubby body, it exudes an air of a laid – back “uncle,” always looking so relaxed and at ease. In the photos, we can clearly see the range of emotions it went through. First, it’s in a state of anticipation, seemingly preparing itself for what’s to come. Then, as the process begins, its face shows extreme dissatisfaction. It looks so fierce, with its eyes wide open and its fur slightly raised. Even after the injection, it still wears a grumpy expression, clearly not over its displeasure with the whole experience. Ever since that day, whenever Jiaxin enters the hospital, it immediately hisses at the chief surgeon and the nurse, showing its strong dislike for the place.

Jiaxin has a rather unique and playful personality. It’s a bit of a “ladies’ man,” loving to hang out with another cat named Niuniu all day long. And when it comes to food, its love for small fish is undeniable. The moment it sees or smells fish, its eyes light up, and it rushes over, meowing eagerly.
Meimei, on the other hand, has also undergone a significant change in her appearance. After getting sterilized in March, she has put on a lot of weight. Now weighing 11 pounds, she has become a real chubby cat. Despite her new – found plumpness, she remains as charming as ever.
The two cats also have adorable kittens. Among them, the second – born kitten has a particularly unique appearance. With its seal tabby tortoiseshell coat, its back features alternating patches of white and cream, creating a striking and beautiful pattern that catches everyone’s eye.
My household has expanded significantly in recent times. Besides Jiaxin and Meimei, we now have a variety of other animals. There are eight of another kind (unspecified), a Malinois dog, six cats in total, eight fancy rats, a lizard, and two hamsters. Each of these animals adds its own color and vitality to our home.
However, recent times haven’t been all fun and games. The little stray cat Niuniu that I picked up unfortunately got feline infectious peritonitis, which required a lot of my time and attention for treatment. On top of that, the chaos of moving house added to the busyness. These challenges have made it difficult for me to update everyone on the cats’ lives, but I’m always eager to share their stories.
Jiaxin and Meimei, with their distinct personalities and endearing appearances, have become the heart of my home. Their lives are full of simple joys, little dramas, and moments of pure happiness. Whether it’s Jiaxin’s comical reactions at the hospital, Meimei’s elegant yet chubby charm, or the cuteness of their kittens, they constantly remind me of the wonderful bond between humans and pets. As I look forward to the future, I’m excited to see what new adventures and memories these furry friends will bring into my life.
