Siamese Cat Didi: A Little Treasure with Many “Flaws” but Impossible to Resist

In the picture of my family life, the Siamese cat Didi is undoubtedly the most vivid and striking part. It has countless “little problems,” but it is precisely these imperfections that make it a unique and beloved little treasure in my heart.

Didi has a rather amusing and unique “habit” – it likes to let me smell its bottom. Every time it wiggles its little butt over and pushes its bottom right in front of me, the sight is both funny and cute. Although its bottom sometimes gives off an unpleasant smell, somehow, I’ve become a bit “addicted” to it.

Its voice is incredibly loud, as if it has a built – in “megaphone.” Even when I’m on the first floor, I can clearly hear its calls from upstairs. The sound is loud and urgent. Once it wants to get my attention, the entire house echoes with its cries. Sometimes, when it’s trying to beg for snacks or wants me to play with it, it will keep shouting at the top of its lungs. The “deafening” sound makes it impossible to ignore its presence.

Didi is also a complete “glutton.” It can’t resist food. Whether it’s cat food, snacks, or the meals at home, it’s interested in everything. However, its stomach is very delicate. Often, due to overeating, it ends up vomiting. Looking at its pitiful little eyes after vomiting, I feel both heartbroken and helpless. I can only clean up the mess while hiding the food more carefully to prevent it from stealing again.

Didi seems to have an endless supply of energy and is obsessed with running around the house all day. Once it starts, there’s no peace at home. It runs from the living room to the bedroom, then jumps onto the sofa, scurrying up and down without stopping. Moreover, it always demands that I play with it. As soon as I sit down, it will immediately come over, paw at me, or circle around my feet. Its eagerness seems to say, “Stop sitting there and come play with me!”

It’s like “super – sticky glue among cats.” Once it decides to follow me, it sticks to me wherever I go and is impossible to shake off. When I go to the kitchen to cook, it squats next to the stove. When I go to the bathroom, it guards the door. Even when I go to the balcony to hang up the laundry, it follows closely behind. The only way to “get rid” of it temporarily is to lure it into a room with food and then close the window.

However, it’s precisely this Siamese cat with so many “flaws” that I’m deeply infatuated with. I love its slightly smelly little paws. Every time it stretches its feet in front of me, I can’t help but hold them gently. I love its breath with a hint of fishy smell. When it leans in to rub against my face, that unique smell actually makes me feel at ease. I love its soft little ears. Touching them feels like touching a cloud, extremely comfortable.

When Didi calms down, it will patiently stay by my side. When I’m working, it quietly lies in a corner of the desk. When I’m reading a book, it curls up on my lap and purrs softly. Even if I scold it for being naughty occasionally, it doesn’t hold a grudge. A minute later, it will come running back, rubbing its head against my hand and pitifully asking for a hug.

Didi’s presence has made my life rich and colorful. Its naughtiness, cuteness, dependence, and companionship have all become the most precious memories in my life. Although it has all kinds of small problems, in my eyes, these are not flaws but its unique charm. I will always love this little treasure with many “flaws” and accompany it through every happy day.
