Tu Tu, the Siamese cat in my family, is like a contradictory and charming little angel. She is smart and clingy, always able to heal my fatigue with her warm company. However, she also has some “little quirks” that can be frustrating and amusing at the same time. These flaws, like the other side of her unique personality, make her who she is.
Tu Tu’s most persistent problem is her tendency to urinate on the bed. When I first discovered this issue, I tried every possible solution. I changed the quilts, bed sheets, litter boxes, and cat litter. I even attempted scolding, teaching, coaxing, and tricking, but all my efforts seemed to be in vain. For a few months, she seemed to have “corrected” her behavior and stopped her “reckless behavior” on the bed, making me think I had finally found the key to taming her. I was overjoyed. But unfortunately, it didn’t last long. Before I knew it, she was back to her old ways, leaving “marks” on the bed again. Later, I gradually realized that this might be a unique behavioral problem of hers. Perhaps she really enjoys the feeling of urinating on the soft quilt. No matter how hard I try, it’s difficult to change this special habit of hers. Every time I see the soiled bed, I feel both helpless and amused. But when I look into her innocent eyes, all my complaints disappear in an instant.

Tu Tu is also well – known for her sensitivity and jealousy.Sometimes, she will walk away angrily and turn her back on me, ignoring my calls. Other times, she will come up to me and gently pull at me with her paws, trying to get my attention, as if to say, “I’m your favorite baby!” To avoid hurting her feelings, I dare not openly show affection to other cats in front of her. I have to carefully balance my care for each cat, for fear of accidentally hurting her sensitive heart.
Picky eating is another headache with Tu Tu. She has extremely high standards for food. She turns her nose up at anything other than cat food. What’s more, she is only interested in Royal Siamese breed cat food and ignores all other brands and types. As a result, since her sterilization recovery, her weight has remained stable at 3.3 kg without any change. Seeing her “obsession” with food, I’m worried about her nutritional balance, but there’s little I can do. I can only prepare her exclusive food according to her preferences.
Tu Tu has another amusing “flaw” – she is overly clean. Every time she finishes using the litter box, instead of burying the feces, she focuses all her attention on cleaning her paws, as if she can’t stand even the slightest smell on them. Watching her carefully clean her paws, I often can’t help but laugh. Her love for cleanliness makes her seem like a delicate little princess who can’t stand being untidy.
Although Tu Tu has these frustrating “flaws,” in my heart, they have become part of her unique charm. These little quirks haven’t reduced my love for her; instead, they have made me more aware of her vivid personality. She is like a child with a bit of a temper. Although she can be naughty at times, every action of hers is full of vitality, making it impossible not to tolerate and love her. In the days to come, I will still be by Tu Tu’s side, accepting all of her, and creating more beautiful and unforgettable memories with her.
