The days of raising Siamese cats are like opening blind boxes, and you never know what kind of “surprise” you’ll get next. Not only are they masters at destroying the house, but their emotions that seem to overflow the screen and their “capricious” appearance changes are both endearing and exasperating.
Some time ago, I brought a Ragdoll cat home. I thought it would be a warm cat meeting, but it turned out to be an “emotional outburst scene” for the Siamese cats. As soon as the Siamese cats saw the Ragdoll, they were completely out of sorts. They immediately bared their teeth, hissed fiercely, and kept yelling at the Ragdoll, trying to intimidate this “new member” in this way.
The Ragdoll cat truly lives up to its reputation as the “aristocrat among cats.” Facing the provocation of the Siamese cats, it remained completely unfazed, calm and composed. It was as if this was already a familiar home. It ate and drank as usual and picked up toys to play happily, with no intention of having a “big battle” with the Siamese cats at all. On the other hand, seeing the Ragdoll cat ignoring it like this, the Siamese cat was so angry that it made a rumbling sound of rage in its throat. I hugged it lovingly to soothe it, but it wouldn’t be comforted and remained immersed in its anger. After a while, it actually hid away, looking melancholy and desolate. Its expression was just like a poor little thing wronged in love. Looking at its appearance, I couldn’t help but feel both annoyed and amused. I never expected that such small cats could have such rich emotions.

The emotional dramas of Siamese cats don’t stop there. In daily life, their joys, sorrows, angers, and pleasures are all written on their faces. If you accidentally ignore them, they will put on a sullen and gloomy face, as if silently protesting. If they find that you’ve given more snacks to other cats, they’ll immediately become jealous and start causing all kinds of trouble to get your attention. These little guys are simply walking “emotional theaters.”
In addition to their rich emotions, the appearance changes of Siamese cats are also very “capricious.” Everyone knows that Siamese cats have a cute nickname, “coal miners,” because their coat colors can change with factors such as temperature and age, which I was mentally prepared for. But what I didn’t expect was that their body shape changes were even more unexpected. I originally thought that Siamese cats were the type that could eat as much as they wanted without getting fat, but reality gave me a wake – up call. I don’t know when it started, but my Siamese cats began an “eating spree,” and their weight started to skyrocket. The once light and agile little guys are now chubby, with round, plump faces. Looking at their increasingly plump bodies, I’m both worried and anxious, and I’ve started searching everywhere for ways to help my cats lose weight.
Although Siamese cats have all these funny “little quirks” that make people laugh and cry, it’s precisely these unique features that make them an indispensable part of my life. They add countless joys and colors to my life with their rich emotions and “capricious” appearance. Even if they throw tantrums out of jealousy or get fat from overeating, I still love them deeply. After all, who can resist these cute and interesting little angels?
