My Beloved Siamese Cat: The King of the House

My Beloved Siamese Cat: The King of the House

When I first met this Siamese cat, its imposing appearance left a deep impression on me. Many people think it looks fierce with its sharp eyes when they see its photos. However, in reality, it is an out – and – out clingy cat. It always follows me around like a little shadow. When I sit on the sofa to rest, it will immediately jump up and snuggle closely beside me, finding the most comfortable position. When I’m busy in the kitchen, it will squat beside me, watching me quietly and intently, and occasionally making soft meows, as if cheering me on.

Being called the “Husky among cats”, this Siamese cat truly lives up to this name with its well – known naughtiness. The furniture and items at home often become the targets of its “exploration” and “destruction”. It jumps around the house, pushing small objects off the table, and looks proud when the items fall. It also loves to squeeze into various narrow spaces, making a mess of the house. However, everything changed dramatically after I had a baby. Overnight, it seemed to restrain its naughtiness and became quiet and gentle. It began to know how to protect this new family member and expressed its love for our family in its own way. This transformation deeply made me feel the sincerity of its love for me.

This Siamese cat is not only clingy and naughty but also very smart and observant. There are five cats in my family, and this cat, with its charm, managed to achieve “Bring me home, and I’ll handle the rest”. It knows how to get along with family members, when to act coquettishly, and when to wait quietly while others are busy. Driven by it, the other four cats were gradually accepted by the family. It has to be said that the other four cats owe their place in the family to this cat.

Of course, as a Siamese cat, it is also a veritable hair – shedding monster. When it sheds hair, the scene is astonishing. The amount of hair it sheds is more than that of the other four cats combined. To deal with this “problem”, I use a vacuum cleaner and a lint remover to clean the house twice a day, and these tools have become essential items at home.

In terms of diet, considering there are five cats in the family, I can’t afford very expensive cat food. Currently, I mainly choose between Snow Mountain and Seafood Feast. Comparatively, Seafood Feast contains not only meat meal but also meat in its ingredient list, so I prefer this one. To supplement more meat nutrition for them, I feed them meat cans 2 – 3 times a week. Whenever I have time, I also cook common and affordable foods like egg yolks and chicken breasts. When there are e – commerce promotions, I stock up on finished snacks such as freeze – dried food, and catnip cookies are always in stock. As for cat litter, I choose Fuwan cat litter. This cat litter has little dust and is affordable. Even if I empty it once every half month, I don’t feel regret.

Since having the baby, this cat often secretly goes to see the baby. The baby also likes it very much and can’t help but want to play with it. Although children are not always gentle, this cat has an extremely high tolerance and has never been fierce to the baby. Seeing the harmonious scene of them getting along, my heart is filled with warmth and emotion.

This cat is not just a pet but an important member of our family. With its naughtiness, clinginess, intelligence, and gentleness, it has brought endless joy and warmth to our lives. In the days to come, I hope to continue to accompany it, witness more of its growth moments, and write more beautiful stories together.

In the pet world of my home, there is a well – deserved “king” – my two – year – old Siamese cat. It is like a shining and distinctive star, illuminating our lives with its unique charm and becoming an indispensable warm light in my life.
