The newly added tabby Siamese cat at home is like an energetic “little devil” and also a super sweet “coquette”. Since its arrival, life at home has become both chaotic and full of warmth and laughter.
I still remember the first month when it came to our home. Every time I opened the door, I was greeted by a messy “disaster scene”. As a cat, it seems to have a special “hatred” for paper, and the toilet paper at home bore the brunt. The toilet paper rolls in the bathroom were often pulled all over the floor by it, and the paper sheets were torn into pieces. The whole floor was like covered with a layer of white snowflakes. It would also paw at the paper scraps at the “crime scene” and sometimes even hold the paper scraps in its mouth, showing off proudly like a “winner”.

Not only that, but my dressing table also became its “playground”. Every time I put on makeup, it would always jump onto the dressing table on time and sniff curiously among the bottles and jars. Whatever caught its eye couldn’t escape being bitten. Once, my beloved makeup sponge was bitten to pieces by its sharp teeth in the blink of an eye while I turned around. The originally soft sponge became unrecognizable and has since become a “disposable item”. Looking at the damaged items, I felt both angry and amused.
Facing its naughty behavior, I naturally “taught” it a lesson. Whenever I caught it in the act of making a mess, I would gently pat its butt as a punishment. But this little guy seems to have an extremely strong “tolerance”. It doesn’t hold grudges at all. Just after being spanked, it would come up to me again, rub its little head against my hand, let out a soft cry, and look at me eagerly, begging for a pet. Its innocent and expectant eyes instantly made my “anger” disappear, and instead, I felt guilty for hitting it.
However, the most irresistible thing about this Siamese cat is its excellent coquetry skills. It seems to be born knowing how to capture the owner’s heart. As soon as I call out softly, it will come running “purring”, plunge into my palm, and lie down on the ground, exposing its soft belly, enjoying my petting to the fullest, as if performing a sweet ceremony of “sending its head from afar”.
Whenever my family and I come home from work, it will also bring its British Shorthair Silver Tabby brother to greet us. The two cats rub against our legs on each side, meowing one after another. Although they are probably mostly after delicious food, looking at their cute appearances, even if there are still paper scraps scattered on the ground, we will not hesitate to squat down and embrace these two little guys, enjoying the happy time of petting the cats.
Compared with the quiet and well – behaved British Shorthair Silver Tabby, which always likes to be alone, this naughty and clingy Siamese cat is like a passionate flame. One is quiet, and the other is lively; one is independent, and the other is dependent. The two cats complement each other in personality, adding double the joy to the family. As a “mother”, seeing them get along harmoniously and bring different surprises and warmth every day, my heart is filled with comfort and satisfaction. This Siamese cat, in its unique way, has left a vivid mark in this home and made our life more colorful.
