Last November, a four – month – old Siamese cat entered my life. Since then, my days have been filled with much joy and warmth, and I’ve embarked on a cat – raising journey full of surprises.
When it first arrived home, the little guy seemed a bit timid yet curious. On the first day, it cowered under the sofa, with only its round, wary eyes peeking out, carefully observing this strange environment. But soon, its “explorer” nature came to the fore, and it boldly emerged from under the sofa to explore every corner of the house. At night, it would start its “parkour” mode, dashing back and forth between the living room and bedroom, jumping up and down. It would chase its tail one moment, and pounce on a rolling ball the next, with seemingly endless energy. During that time, I was often awakened by the noise of its midnight parkour. I felt both helpless and amused, and I also deeply realized that with such a vibrant Siamese cat, I really needed to find ways to “burn off” its energy.

As time went by, the little one gradually grew up. Its originally light – colored fur gradually turned dark, as if time had dyed it with a unique mark. Its body also became rounder and rounder. From a tiny kitten, it has now grown into an 8 – jin – heavy “chubby guy”. Watching its changes day by day, I feel a great sense of accomplishment, just like watching my own child grow up healthily.
In addition to the changes in its appearance, its personality is even more endearing. It has always been a “Mr. Good – Temper”, never getting angry easily. When I trim its nails or clean its ears, although it may be a bit reluctant and meow a few more times to express its small displeasure, it will still cooperate obediently and let me do what I need to do. Its gentle and well – behaved appearance always makes me want to hug and kiss it more.
The most prominent feature of it must be its “huge appetite”. While other cats may enjoy all kinds of meat delicacies, it has a special preference for cat food, especially the Nutram 24 cat food I feed it. Every meal time, it will wait beside the food bowl, looking at me eagerly and meowing impatiently from time to time, urging me to feed it quickly. As soon as I pour the cat food in, it will gobble it up immediately, and in no time, the bowl will be clean. Its love for cat food is almost “obsessive”. In contrast, it shows little interest in meat. No matter how I tempt it, it just sniffs and then turns away, as if to say, “Cat food is my true love!”
In terms of daily expenses, it is also quite “considerate”. I mix various brands of original – flavor tofu cat litter, which not only ensures good deodorization and clumping effects but also doesn’t cost too much. Although it eats a lot, overall, the cost of raising it is within an acceptable range.
This Siamese cat is like a little sun in my life, filling my life with its vitality, gentleness, and cuteness. From a “lively guy” who loved parkour to a heartwarming pet now, it has brought me countless beautiful memories.
