In the world of pets, every encounter is a wonderful fate. And my meeting with the Siamese cat at home has added endless colors and warmth to my life.
I remember when the cat was 4.5 months old, I brought it home from a fairly conscientious cat dealer for just 500 yuan. When it first arrived, it was a bit shy. Its small body curled up in the corner, making “ha~ ha~” sounds. But it was very gentle. It neither scratched nor bit. Looking at its scared yet vigilant appearance, my heart was instantly touched, and I secretly decided to take good care of it.
In terms of diet, I carefully selected Noble cat food for it. The price of 269 yuan for 10 Kg was to provide it with high – quality nutrition. However, to my surprise, it has an almost fanatical love for raw meat compared to cat food. At first, it was not picky and ate pork and chicken with relish. But as time went by, it became “picky,” and only lean beef could catch its eye. Every time I prepared to feed it, as soon as I took out the beef, it would immediately come over, staring intently and occasionally making eager cries, as if urging me to feed it quickly. Seeing its satisfied look while enjoying the food, I felt happy from the bottom of my heart.
What I love most about this Siamese cat is its clingy and intelligent personality. It’s like a “little dog” among cats, always following closely behind me. Wherever I go, it follows. When I sit on the sofa to rest, it will jump up lightly and snuggle beside me, rubbing its little head against my arm and purring softly. When I work at the desk, it lies quietly beside me, occasionally looking up at me. Its focused eyes seem to accompany me in my efforts. Its intelligence is amazing. I tried putting a leash on it and taking it out for a walk. I thought it would be difficult, but it adapted quickly and followed me obediently, attracting many passers – by to stop and praise.
During the days of getting along with it, it always brings me unexpected surprises. Once, I accidentally dropped my key in the corner. While I was searching everywhere, it seemed to sense my anxiety and took the initiative to run over and pull the key out with its paw. At that moment, I was both shocked and delighted. Its intelligence and thoughtfulness moved me deeply. Usually, it seems to be able to understand my emotions. When I’m happy, it jumps and plays happily beside me. When I’m in a low mood, it quietly snuggles in my arms, giving me comfort with its warm body.
Now, it has long become an indispensable part of my life. Although there are expenses and some small troubles in the process of feeding it, compared with the joy and warmth it brings, these are insignificant. It fills my life with its clinginess, intelligence, and cuteness, allowing me to feel the pure and deep emotion between humans and pets.
There is still a long way to go in the future. I look forward to creating more beautiful memories with this intelligent and clingy Siamese cat. Whether it’s rainy or sunny, I hope to have it by my side and go through every moment of life together.
