In my life, there is a very special little guy, my lovely Siamese cat – ChickenLegzi. When I think back to the night we met, I still feel incredibly warm and happy, and since then, he has become an indispensable part of my life.
It was the early morning of Qixi Festival. Filled with anticipation, I drove to the airport to pick up ChickenLegzi. On the way, I was both nervous and excited, imagining what the little cat would look like. When I finally received him at the airport, that small, fluffy ball instantly melted my heart. Now, ChickenLegzi is eight months old. From that tiny cutie, with my careful care, he has grown into a 12 – jin “chubby cat.” Watching him eat heartily and grow up healthily, although it has cost me a lot of money, every penny is filled with my love for him.
What I love most about ChickenLegzi is his clingy personality. He is simply my “little shadow,” following me wherever I go. When I’m cooking in the kitchen, he quietly squats beside me, looking at me with his super – blue eyes from time to time, as if saying, “I’m waiting for something delicious.” When I’m watching TV in the living room, he jumps onto the sofa and snuggles up to me. He even rests his head on my lap and falls asleep peacefully, and his purring is like the most beautiful lullaby. His dependence on me makes me feel the happiness of being needed and deepens the bond between us.
ChickenLegzi’s appearance is beyond compare. Especially his eyes, which are as blue as deep gems, pure and bright, as if they can see into my heart. Every time he looks at me with those eyes, I can’t help but want to hug and kiss him. Besides his good looks, he is also very good at making all kinds of strange and cute facial expressions. Sometimes, he tilts his head with a confused look; sometimes, he widens his eyes in surprise; and at other times, he squints his eyes and the corners of his mouth turn up slightly, as if he’s smirking. These expressions bring endless joy to my life. Whenever I take out my phone to record these moments, I can’t help but laugh out loud.
As the New Year approaches, I’m full of anticipation for the surprises ChickenLegzi will bring. I know he’s not an ordinary cat; he has unique talents. Although he can’t sing or dance like humans, he has his own “special skills.” Maybe he will show off his agile skills in front of everyone and easily jump to high places. Maybe he will perform an adorable “cat show” with his cute appearance and lively posture. Or perhaps he will make all kinds of funny moves when teased by everyone, making everyone burst into laughter. I believe ChickenLegzi’s talent show will become the most special and unforgettable memory of the New Year.
ChickenLegzi’s arrival has made my life colorful. With his clinginess, cuteness, cleverness, and uniqueness, he has filled my life and taught me what unconditional love and companionship mean. In the days to come, I hope to always be by his side, witness every moment of his growth, and create more beautiful memories together. No matter what difficulties we encounter, I will always be there to protect him, because he is not just a cat; he is my dearest family member.
