Siamese Cat Banermian: Joys and Warmth in Life

Siamese Cat Banermian: Joys and Warmth in Life

Banermian’s life is always full of surprises and joys. In the days spent with it, each day brings different wonderful stories. As the Chinese New Year approached, to add some festive atmosphere for this little guy, I specially bought it a red turtleneck sweater. When it put on this new outfit, it fit surprisingly well. It looked just like a cute little lucky doll, extremely adorable. Watching it walk around the house, showing off its new “battle robe,” I couldn’t help but burst into laughter.

Banermian has a special fondness for dogs, and it seems to be like sworn brothers with my dog, Rourou. They often look at each other, and there seems to be a unique communication only between them. Interestingly, Rourou once wore Banermian’s clothes. Since Banermian has a slender body, the clothes looked extremely large on Rourou, and the funny sight was really hilarious. These two little guys together always bring endless joy to the family.

However, Banermian also has its “mischievous” moments. When it throws a tantrum, its appearance can be a bit scary, but fortunately, it’s all within the range I can tolerate. It’s just that its “spoiled” look is rather cute – ugly. I remember when it had surgery, seeing its weak appearance made my heart ache. It also strongly resisted wearing the Elizabethan collar. Because it couldn’t lick its wound, it would even throw tantrums and flop around. Helplessly, I had to use tape to fasten the collar to prevent it from touching the wound and avoid infection. During that period, I paid close attention to its recovery, hoping it would get better soon.

Later, I noticed that due to my busy work schedule, I only had a short time to play with Banermian after work every day. It often just lay beside me in a daze when not sleeping, looking very lonely. To keep it from being lonely, I found a younger brother for it – Song Gangbanger. Since then, the two cats have been playing together every day, having a great time. Even when I came back home from vacation, I clearly felt that Banermian didn’t seem to miss me as much as before. But it’s still very clingy, always rubbing against me, seeking my attention.

Siamese cats are known as the “dogs among cats.” The veterinarian told me that it’s the only cat that can be walked like a dog. Although I’m not sure if it’s truly the only one, Banermian really loves going out. I used to take it out for walks frequently, and it wasn’t afraid at all. Instead, it was very excited, always pulling me around and even accompanying me to pick up express deliveries. However, if I don’t take it out for a walk one day, it will cry loudly at the door, eager to go out. This has given me a headache, and I still haven’t come up with a good solution to deal with its persistent demand to go out.

During the days with Banermian, every moment of it is worth cherishing. I’ve also deeply realized that having a cat is like having a little treasure. Their cuteness, naughtiness, and coquettish behavior make you want to record them all. So, if you’re planning to keep a cat, be sure to prepare a phone with a large storage capacity because you’ll find that you can’t bear to delete any of their photos. Banermian has brought endless warmth and joy to my life in its unique way. It’s not just a pet but an indispensable and important partner in my life. I believe that in the days to come, there will be more interesting stories waiting for me and Banermian to create together.
