My Adorable Seal - Point Siamese Cat - Tangyuan

My Adorable Seal – Point Siamese Cat – Tangyuan

In my home, there is a much – beloved “little princess,” my one – year – old Siamese cat, Tangyuan. As a female seal – point Siamese, Tangyuan has a unique appearance and charming temperament. With its excellent physical condition and gentle personality, it has become an indispensable and warm companion in my life.

Currently, Tangyuan weighs 2.75 kilograms. She looks delicate and her fur color hasn’t darkened much, still maintaining her cute and lively appearance. When I think about the experience of raising Tangyuan, I have a lot of feelings. When I first started keeping a cat, I knew very little about cat feeding. I fed her Langshi cat food, which cost just over 10 yuan per catty. At that time, I didn’t realize that as obligate carnivores, cats have a high demand for protein, and plain cat food alone can’t meet their nutritional needs. It wasn’t until Tangyuan was five months old that I became aware of this issue. I quickly started supplementing her diet with boiled chicken breast and cat food cans, hoping to make up for the previous nutritional deficiencies.

Siamese cats reach sexual maturity relatively early, usually around six months old, and Tangyuan was no exception. During her heat period, she became restless, running around the house and meowing loudly and urgently, which was quite a challenge to deal with. For Tangyuan’s health and quality of life, I made the decision to have her spayed. Fortunately, the surgery was a great success, and Tangyuan recovered very well without any sequelae or discomfort. After the spaying, she seemed to become more relaxed and gained some weight, becoming even cuter.

During her growth, Tangyuan did encounter a minor health issue. When she was almost one year old, she lost her appetite for a while and didn’t seem energetic. After taking her to the hospital, I found out that she had gastroenteritis. After three days of intravenous treatment, Tangyuan regained her vitality. The total cost of this treatment, including the examination fees, was about 700 yuan. Fortunately, except for this bout of gastroenteritis, Tangyuan has rarely been sick. Her physical condition is truly excellent, which gives me a lot of peace of mind.

What I love most about Tangyuan is her incredibly good temper. Since she came into my life, she has never scratched or bitten me. Even when she gets into mischief and I give her a gentle pat, she never resists. Instead, she obediently accepts my “scolding,” looking at me with her innocent big eyes, making it impossible for me to stay angry. Unlike some other cats that are easily irritated and quick – tempered, Tangyuan is always gentle. No matter how I treat her, as long as it’s not excessive, she never gets angry. She’s like a sweet little angel, healing my every day with her tolerance and love.

Every day when I get home, seeing Tangyuan run up to greet me happily, rub her head against my legs, and purr contentedly, all my fatigue fades away. In my leisure time, she will quietly lie beside me while I read books or watch TV shows. When I’m working, she will peacefully lie next to my computer, occasionally looking up at me, and her appearance is simply adorable.

Tangyuan is not just a pet; she is a dear friend in my life and a source of comfort for my soul. Her presence has made my life more colorful, filled with warmth and joy. I’m extremely grateful to have met Tangyuan, and I hope to accompany her to grow up healthily and happily in the days to come, continuing to create more beautiful stories between us.
