The Journey with My Siamese Cat

The Journey with My Siamese Cat

Once upon a time, as a 1996 – born “old auntie”, I had no interest in cats or kids. However, a coincidence this year led me on a wonderful journey with a Siamese cat.

At first, I got the Siamese cat out of sheer curiosity. I knew nothing about cat – keeping and had no idea about scientific cat – rearing. I just thought its round eyes and fluffy body were so cute that I couldn’t help but take a second look.

I still remember the night I brought it home. It was extremely friendly right from the start. As soon as it entered the house, it played merrily with the cat teaser. After a short while, it let me hold it in my arms obediently. But the little one also made a little joke. It pooped in my arms (I guess it didn’t do it on purpose). Then, it ate the cat food with relish and was not picky at all, which added to my affection for it.

Cats seem to be born masters of acting coquettishly. Every expression on its face was like that of a poor little thing, making people can’t help but feel pity. It loved to lie on me, resting its little head beside my face, getting as close to me as possible. Sometimes, it would playfully climb onto my shoulders and head. Even the curtains and the air – conditioner became its exploration territory. Watching its lively and active appearance, my heart was filled with joy.

As time went by, it trusted me more and more. Later, it could sleep peacefully beside me. At that moment, I was so happy that I felt I had gained its complete trust.

As days passed, it became more and more good – looking. My roommate joked that it was getting more and more like me. Maybe its good looks came from me. Hearing this, I secretly rejoiced in my heart, as if I had found a special kind of tacit understanding.

Of course, it also had its naughty moments. Once, when I got home from work, I was really shocked. The cat litter was scattered all over the place, my shoes were in a mess, and it even dragged my skirt to wipe the floor. That scene was really annoying but also quite funny. However, its cute appearance quickly made my anger disappear.

It was very clingy and always meowed non – stop. As long as I hugged it, it would calm down. Sometimes, it would stand by the bed, stand up on its own, and then flop into my arms. It looked like a child eager for love. Because of it, I found that I had become much gentler, and people around me all said so. Perhaps, this is the charm of animals. They can heal people’s hearts and make us softer.

I’m a Leo, and it’s an Aquarius “little baby”. Now, I can’t live without it and I can’t bear to be separated from it. To record its growth, I even opened a Douyin account for it. Watching it grow up day by day, I know that I’ve fallen deeply in love with this little guy.

In the days to come, I’ll always be by its side, caring for it with my love and making sure it grows up healthily and happily. I believe that our story will continue, and this journey with the Siamese cat will become the most beautiful memory in my life.
