In my little world, Nuomi and Doubao, these two lovely cats, are like two shining stars, illuminating every day of my life, bringing me countless joys and warmth. Of course, there are also some “happy troubles” along the way.
These days, I’m not sure if it’s because of the weather or some other reason, but the time that Nuomi and Doubao spend “parkouring” every day has been getting longer and longer. Before dawn, when I’m still asleep, they start stepping around my head, making a cooing sound, as if urging me to get up quickly and play with them. In the middle of the night yesterday, I suddenly felt my legs go numb. When I woke up in a daze, I found that both of them were lying on my legs, sound asleep. Looking at their peaceful sleeping faces, I felt both warm and a bit helpless. This is probably what people call “happy troubles”.
Nuomi and Doubao are really becoming more and more alike. Not only are their behaviors getting more similar, but their personalities also have a lot in common. Take their preferences for example. I heard that most cats don’t like to have their bellies touched, but Nuomi is different. It really enjoys it when I rub its belly. Every time I reach out my hand, it will happily roll around, purring in its throat, and rub its little head against my hand. Its cute appearance is simply irresistible.

There is also that small plate which was originally used to plant cat grass. After the grass was used up, Nuomi took it as its own little nest. Although it has grown a bit bigger now and can’t fully curl up in it, it still sleeps in it happily every day. Watching it trying hard to fit itself into the small plate, I can’t help but laugh.
As for Doubao, it’s a mysterious cat. I’ve always been unsure of its breed. Sometimes I even joke that it’s a “British rural cat”. Doubao has a particularly heartwarming habit. Since it was a kitten, I’ve developed the habit of holding it and sleeping during the afternoon nap. Holding its soft body, I always sleep very soundly. Now, whenever it’s sleepy, it will actively come to me and let me hold it to fall asleep. In contrast, Nuomi is different. It can only let me hold it for a while, and then it will find a place to sleep on its own.
Of course, the life of cats is not always smooth sailing. Once, Doubao was ill, and I took it to the hospital for an examination. When it came to drawing blood, it was both fierce and pitiful. It struggled fearfully, making a whimpering sound, and its eyes were filled with fear and grievance. Looking at it like this, my heart ached, and I really hoped it could get better soon.
During the days of getting along with Nuomi and Doubao, every move they make and every time they act coquettishly are deeply engraved in my heart. They are like my family members, accompanying me through many wonderful times. Although sometimes they bring me some small troubles, such as messing things up while parkouring or disturbing me when I’m sleeping, these can’t overshadow the joy and warmth they bring me.
I cherish every day spent with Nuomi and Doubao, and I hope they can always grow up healthily and happily. In the days to come, I look forward to creating more beautiful memories with them and witnessing more of their lovely moments. No matter what difficulties and challenges we encounter, I will always be by their side and be their strongest support.
