The Adorable Growth Stories of My Two Blue British Shorthair Cats, Jiaozi and Yuanbao

Ah, finally, I have a place to show the more than 800 photos in my gallery. And I’ll also sort out their growth history (considering continuous updates).

There are two blue British Shorthair cats in our family, both boys. They are the kittens born to two blue cats at my grandma’s house.

I’ve liked cats since I was a child, but my mother has always been rather against me raising them.

When I was in my sophomore year of college, my mother suddenly told me that we were going to raise cats at home, not just one, but two. I was so happy at that time.

Later, I learned that one of the kittens in the litter at my grandma’s house had its right front limb crushed by its mother cat. My father thought it was pitiful. If we gave it away, the new owner might not treat it well, so he directly brought it home. That’s Jiaozi. My father was afraid that if we only raised one cat, it would be lonely, so he simply brought back two. The other one was named Yuanbao.

These are the first photos of Jiaozi and Yuanbao I took when I got home after the semester ended.

In the above pictures, Jiaozi is on the left and Yuanbao is on the right. They were only 3 months old at that time and looked so cute.

The first time I had cats, I was so excited that I took pictures crazily. It’s much better now. (Without further ado, here are the pictures.)

The first cute photo of Yuanbao I took.

On the right is a little drawing I made based on that cute photo. Hahaha.

The first funny – looking photo of Jiaozi I took.

Yuanbao slept on my legs for the first time.

It was so naughty. I was in the toilet, and Yuanbao was pawing at my phone.

Yuanbao really likes climbing the curtains. The curtains in my room were scratched by it like pickled vegetables.

Yuanbao slept with all four legs in the air.

At that time, I left a cardboard box for them to play with.

Yuanbao was watching TV, so seriously.

So cute.

A cool photo of Yuanbao.

Every time I change a new garbage bag, Yuanbao has to get into it to “inaugurate” it.

Yuanbao is extremely clingy and often acts cute. Its rule for acting cute is: first meow at the litter – box cleaner (owner) to attract attention, and then I must try every way to get into your arms. What if I still want to act cute after getting in? Then I’ll keep climbing. The closer to the owner’s face, the better.

Yuanbao’s first bath. Its fur fluffed up like an alien.

The first frontal photo of Yuanbao and Jiaozi I took.

Jiaozi is usually quite quiet and likes to sleep on hard places, such as the floor, the table, and so on.

Yuanbao is very naughty and often gets close to people, always being mischievous. Different from Jiaozi, it likes to sleep on soft places, like the bed, the sofa, and the owner’s legs.

Yuanbao also led Jiaozi to be naughty, and later Jiaozi was also “infected” by Yuanbao and became very naughty.

Jiaozi accompanied me while I was studying.

Yuanbao fell asleep in my arms.

Because of the epidemic, I’ve been taking online classes at home. When I’m taking online classes, Yuanbao often nests in my arms, and Jiaozi lies beside me or on the table. Having them both by my side, I’m so happy (^o^)o.

Yuanbao was watching the snow.

A beautiful photo of Yuanbao. This photo is my current lock – screen wallpaper.

Playing games with Yuanbao.

Hahaha, this is a cool photo of Jiaozi.

Yuanbao demonstrated what the aura of a “big shot” is.

This is it!!

The second cool photo of Jiaozi.

Yuanbao started to be able to climb the clothes hanger. I couldn’t figure out how it climbed up at that time.

Yuanbao and Jiaozi were getting familiar with the cat carrier.

At that time, I was changing the bed sheet, and Yuanbao got into the bed sheet…

Yuanbao was grooming itself, with its body arched like a boat. So cute (/ω). I’m so shy that I want to bury my head!!!

Taking them both out to get vaccinated.
