Blue British Shorthairs, also known as “blue chubby cats”, have big heads and round faces. They are covered in silver – blue shiny fur, move gracefully, and are friendly to people. It’s one of my favorite breeds.
If I have to talk about the disadvantages of blue British Shorthairs, I can only mention the ones I often observe in my friend’s blue British Shorthair.
The so – called “disadvantages” of my friend’s blue British Shorthair I’m talking about are not really bad characteristics, but rather things I think it needs to pay attention to.
Quiet, shy, and timid around strangers
At home, it lies around like a refined young lady, looking delicate and quiet.
If there are handsome guys or pretty girls who hug it, it will look shy and let out very gentle meows.
It seems to me that it’s more timid and shyer around strangers than ordinary cats. I always feel that it’s very sensitive.
Its meows are sickly sweet
The meows of the blue chubby cat are very soft, like “miao – miao – W”, so sweet and affectedly sweet)that it’s sickeningly sweet. I’ve tried to imitate it for a long time but still can’t master the essence of this meow.
Lazy, gluttonous, fat, and eats a lot
At home, it’s always either lying or sitting. When it sees me, it raises its head and meows sweetly at me a few times.
If you get some delicious food, this guy seems to turn into a different cat. Its fat body becomes more agile, and its mouth becomes sweeter. It will act cute in every way to ask you for food. This guy is not picky about food and can eat a lot. Maybe that’s why it’s getting fat.
Petty and holds grudges easily
Who would have thought that with its sturdy body, it could be so petty and hold grudges against me.
Last time I called it, but it ignored me. So I went over and flicked its forehead. Since then, it has held a grudge against me.
It won’t let me touch it. As soon as I touch it, it gets angry at me. It took a lot of snacks to make it happy again.
Extremely curious
Curiosity killed the cat. Although every cat is curious.
The blue chubby cat is more curious than cats of other breeds. Although it’s not necessarily a bad thing, it’s really worrying. It can be easily lured away.
A little chubby cat that sheds a lot
Fortunately, your fur is thick. No matter how much it sheds, you won’t become a bald cat.
However, it’s tough on the cat – owner. They need to spend time grooming your fur and cleaning up.
If a man shed hair like you, he would be very close to going bald.
Baldness in men isn’t scary. What’s scary is other people’s opinions. Are you bald because you’re extremely intelligent or because of a tiring nightlife? It’s hard to explain.
Not every blue chubby cat can develop jowls
Don’t assume that all blue chubby cats have big heads, wide bodies, and round faces.
Some blue chubby cats can’t develop jowls, and they don’t look so cute and adorable.
