The Mischievous Yet Lovable Cat, Timo

Whether a cat is easy to raise or not depends on how you look at it. If you count the damaged furniture, then it’s really not that easy to raise.

My daughter cat is named Timo, like the Teemo who always gets targeted in team battles. She’s extremely naughty, jumps around a lot and loves to “taunt”.

On the first day she arrived home, she surveyed her territory and then lay down in the spot on the bed with the strongest foot odor, deciding to stay there permanently. No matter if I made a nest for her or tried other things, she firmly held onto that position and wouldn’t let anyone else take it. At night when I’m sleeping, either I have to twist my body a bit, or I wait for her to sweep my feet with her tail.

When there’s no one at home during the day, she’s really unrestrained. She often strikes a pose as if to invite me, “Come and play, sir,” and rolls around on the bed, shedding hair. When she’s too lazy to find a scratching post, she’ll casually pick a quilt or a pillow to scratch.

She likes to be held in strange positions. I think the biggest impact she has on me is that since I got her, I don’t have anyone to hold at night. I can only hug myself in sadness.

I’ve repeatedly told her not to get on the table. After all, there’s a lot of ink on it, and if one bottle of ink were to fall and break, it would cost hundreds of yuan. Anyway, she just ignores me. If there’s a glass of honey water on the table, you can forget about making her leave, and you won’t be able to drink the honey water either.

Sometimes when she eats too much, she’ll lie pitifully at the end of the bed, wrapped tightly in her little quilt. One day, she ate so much that she lay on the bed, meowing, waiting for someone to rub her belly. And the next day, her father and I were woken up by the smell of her poop.

In the morning, she likes to “draw a lottery” among my four limbs. She’ll hug one of my legs and not let me get up. If I dare to pull it away, then my leg will completely become her toy for the day.

She really loves her father’s chair. The scratching post in the lower – right corner was covered by a box of bear – shaped cookies that she kicked there. She loves to stand on the back of the chair, looking down on her “kingdom”. And then she treats the cushion as a scratching post and scratches it mercilessly.

When she’s tired, she’ll take a nap. Next to her is the thing that she’s scratched. If you dare to scold her, she’ll stare at you with an innocent look for a while, and then scratch a couple more times.

Two days ago, I returned to my country. Her father took care of her alone. He was so angry with her that he didn’t clean the litter box for three days. An electric fan that was three times taller than her when she stood up was knocked down by her. At 6:30 in the morning, after she pooped, she turned her butt towards her father, and he was woken up by the smell. Every night, she lies obediently in her father’s arms, lulling him to sleep, and then starts her wonderful nightlife. She jumps up and down, pats the cat – food bag, and scratches the cat – food cans. Her daily diet is cat food for breakfast, a bit of canned food for lunch, and the best food for dinner. So she only eats a little bit for breakfast and lunch symbolically, and then stares and waits for dinner.

Actually, she’s quite easy to raise, but she’s just too naughty. She’s not well – behaved at all. Sooner or later, I’ll really “scan her with a serious look” and teach her a lesson!
