Adventures of My Cats: Smart, Fierce and Full of Surprises

Some people left comments asking me to update the story of “Revenge of the Nine-Fingered Magic Cat, Xiao Hei”, but unfortunately, there’s nothing new about that…

That yellow cat is like a fighter jet among Dragon Li cats. I once saw two stray cats besieging it, and it didn’t even lose. So I knew my sweet and innocent cat didn’t stand a chance of getting revenge.

But! There’s a new member in my family — Baozi!

A super fierce cat!

Doesn’t it look cute? But looks can be deceiving.

Now, at 9 months old, it weighs 11 pounds. It took on the important task of protecting our home when it was only half the size of the yellow cat at six months old…

Two months ago, it fought off two stray dogs in the yard…

The tree in the neighbor’s yard didn’t grow a single leaf this year because Baozi broke all the thin branches.

However, even with the new member, I still love them all the same.

Original Answer

They are very smart and easy to raise. They can climb onto the roof to chase birds, catch fish, and even open doors and unlock things.

My little black cat, Xiao Hei, is 6 years old this year. Besides going to the hospital for vaccinations and neutering, it has only been there once. It’s completely different from that other chubby cat who has to go to the hospital several times a year. Its fighting ability is really poor.

One windy and dark night, suddenly there was a hysterical meowing on the roof. Needless to say, it must have been that yellow Dragon Li cat from the neighborhood jumping over the wall to steal food.

Xiao Hei looks like this:

And like this.

That yellow cat looks like this:

Isn’t it like the difference between a sweet innocent and a village bully?

Anyway, I immediately grabbed the clothes-drying pole and ran upstairs. The yellow cat had already run away, leaving only my two silly cats hiding in the corner whining. When Xiao Hei saw me, it slowly ran back, but when it stood in front of me, there was a pool of blood at its feet. I took a look and saw that its toenail was turned up, so I didn’t pay much attention, thinking I’d just cut it the next day.

But the next day, I found out that its big toe was actually broken… So I had to take it to the hospital. The doctor said it had to be amputated. And so… the Nine-Fingered Magic Cat came into being.

The doctor asked us to come back a week later to remove the stitches. But as soon as we got home that day, it started jumping around. Three days later, the thread was gone, and a week later, the wound had already healed.

This summer, it brought me several sparrows.

As always, it eats everything up.
