Pineapple contains a magical ingredient: bromelain.

Bromelain is a proteolytic enzyme.

As the name suggests, it can hydrolyze proteins to produce low molecular weight peptides, thereby improving the utilization and conversion rate of proteins in the digestive tract.

When meat encounters bromelain, the muscle protein and collagen in it will also be hydrolyzed, resulting in the softening of the meat.

In layman’s terms, if the meat is marinated with pineapple and then cooked, it will taste tender.

In addition, pineapple has another benefit: it can also soften the hair that your dog accidentally eats during the molting season, making it easier to excrete the hair. However, since bromelain loses its effectiveness when heated, pineapple should be eaten fresh during the molting season to soften the hair that has been eaten.

So, today we will use the function of pineapple to tenderize meat and make a dog-friendly delicacy: pineapple meat sauce.

First, cut the meat: cut into strips.

Cut into small cubes.

Dice the pineapple and mix it with the meat. Let it sit for 15 minutes.

OK, put it in the pot.

It’s a bit boring to eat meat sauce alone, so I served 50 grams of brown rice to Taozi.

Cover it with meat sauce.

I have a meal,

I have a pineapple,

uh! Pineapple rice. Serve the rice

~

Taozi won’t eat unless I say “eat it”.

Is she very obedient~

The following is:

Taozi eats pineapple meat sauce rice.

AV video resources failed to load,

hurry up and buy pineapples~

——————————-Update on Friday, September 22, 2017——————————

This issue is different from the past. It’s not food, but handicrafts.

A friend saw Taozi’s nest before and was very interested, so I’m here to introduce it today.

Why is it called a basket nest? Because it is indeed made of a large bamboo basket. The following scene is called “growing a basket of peaches”~

Before this nest, Taozi had 2 nests, both of which were directly bought from the market. Maybe Taozi was too young and naughty at the time, or she really didn’t like that kind of nest. Anyway, they were all ripped open and torn to pieces~

The first nest (photographed when Taozi was 3 months old):

The second nest (photographed when Taozi was 4 months old)

Then around this time last year, I thought about making a nest for her, and I tried to use natural materials. If she didn’t like it, at least I would have a big bamboo basket to put things in.

Well, it was really a big bamboo basket, the kind that farmers use to do farm work, to put potatoes, sweet potatoes, etc.

(Specifications of the big bamboo basket: bottom diameter 50cm, top diameter 70cm, height 30cm)

Oh my god, she jumped in at once~

Because there was a cloth inside the basket (using an old quilt cover), I had to force her out of the basket~But it was useless, she jumped in again~and

started playing~At this time, she thought the basket was just a big toy~

Well, I still have her video from that year~

The video resource failed to load

and I couldn’t really operate it…I could only carry the basket to the bedroom and close the door.

Cut off the excess cloth edge and fix it with needle and thread to prevent the cloth from slipping into the basket too easily.

When it is done, open the door. Hahahaha~

Sit down with one butt, which means this is hers~

Look at this determined expression, it seems that she has met her destiny “basket”.

Next, make a soft cotton cushion for the basket~

(cotton cushion specifications: round, diameter 60cm, thickness 10cm)

The length of 60cm is determined according to the body length of Taozi when she sleeps normally, which is about 60cm.

Make the cushion core first~

Because there is room for sewing, when cutting, the diameter of the circular cloth piece is actually 62cm, and 2 pieces of such cloth pieces are needed.

Then, you need a long strip of cloth, the length is the circumference of the circular cloth piece + 2cm, and the width is 12cm. Yes, you also need to leave room for sewing. This piece of cloth is used to form the thickness of the cushion.

Start sewing~ the linen cloth used for the cushion core.

After sewing, leave a hole unsewn, turn it over, and stuff 2 pounds of cotton inside~

(the famous Xinjiang hand-picked cotton bought from the vegetable market)

Sew the remaining hole, and a round, chubby, and soft cushion core is ready~

It was very late that day when the cushion core was sewn, and there was no time to make a cushion cover, so I took the remaining old quilt cover to cover it and let Taozi try it for one night.

After hesitating for about 2 seconds, the little paw pressed in~ and

lay down very comfortably~ It was soft~

and fell asleep soon.

The next day, I started to make a cushion cover, the kind with a zipper, so that it can be disassembled and washed~ This time I used a patterned cloth.

The sewing method is similar to the cushion core, except that the part with the opening needs to be sewn with the zipper. After sewing, putting on, and zipping up, it’s done~

Just put the mat in the basket~ Eh? Where did the shadowless dog come from~

After a good sleep yesterday, it seems to be more skilled in the business today~

From then on, Taozi can no longer leave this nest, and my original dream of earning a big bamboo basket to put things has been ruined~

She likes it so much that when the weather is good, she will watch over me when I hang the basket and mat to dry~

Not to mention when we take them apart to wash, it’s almost killing her~

Even if there is no mat cover, she will go in and occupy it~ Tsk tsk tsk tsk, the fallen hair is stuck to the core of the mat~

After washing and drying, when I put it on again, the monitoring started in time~

I can’t operate it again, blow it out!

I took the hair sticking tube and rolled it a few times, but it was rejected~

What’s the matter~ You don’t like the fragrant nest~ Cut~

After it was completely done, she was relieved and went to play. Really, I have more ideas than anyone else~

The floral pillow above was added later. As a nest, doesn’t it look more complete?

Later, the weather became colder, but the heating was not on. So I made another small quilt.

(Specifications of the small quilt: 100cm long, 60cm wide) Make

the quilt cover first.

I want a very simple feeling, just like the old-fashioned quilt we covered when we were young, with a quilt cover and a quilt lining, but unlike the old-fashioned quilt, it is equipped with a zipper for easy disassembly and washing.

Then make the quilt core, and then put on the quilt cover, done~

This time, I used half a pound of Xinjiang cotton.

When it gets cold, I need to cover myself with a small quilt. It’s

so cold, I wrap myself tightly in my small quilt.

So, every day, I have a quilt-folding service.

Of course, there is also a service of waiting to cover myself with a quilt.

Although the small quilt can only be used within a week before and after the heating (it’s too hot to cover it at other times), it still can’t change Taozi’s love for it. Look,

is it to dry the quilt or the dog?

What do you care?

The above layout is used in spring, autumn and winter. In the past summer, the basket nest looked like this.

Take off the cloth at the bottom and put a cool mat (actually a round cushion for people) on the mat. Since the basket itself is made of bamboo, it is very breathable and cool in all directions. This is also the reason why I chose the bamboo basket

. In short, from last autumn to now, this basket has experienced a complete spring, summer, autumn and winter. It can be said that it has experienced the test of the four seasons. However, it is still there, neither emptied nor torn.

I also hope that this basket can always accompany Taozi, give her quality sleep, and give her a healthy body.

The above is all about Taozi’s basket.

So, see you next week.
