The growth of a beautiful and stubborn little black Shiba Inu Chuyi (3)

It has been a month since the last update~~ This answer is simply the growth diary of our little Chuyi.

The biggest change this month is that I took Chuyi to petco’s puppy level 1 training class. One hour per week, a total of six weeks. So far, it has been four weeks. The class mainly teaches obedience training methods, which requires dogs to understand “sit”, “lie down”, “stand up”, “wait” and “follow”. The class time is basically ineffective. After understanding the training methods, the biggest workload is to train her at home. The training effect of Chuyi is still quite obvious. Now when she is “waiting”, she can resist eating snacks thrown in front of her~

When I signed up for the class, I found that petco also provides free puppy play, which is to play together in a fence with ten puppies under the supervision of parents and trainers.

It is really good social training to play with dogs of different breeds, sizes and personalities!

Chuyi will soon have her third vaccination, and the rabies vaccine will also be scheduled. The last time I went to the veterinary hospital, the veterinarian also mentioned sterilization. It seems that our Chuyi has become a big girl (I am so reluctant!). Come to think of it, Chuyi was only five pounds when she first came, and now she is eleven pounds! Her weight has doubled in just forty days!! It is incredible~

Raising a dog is really like raising a child. Not only do you feed her water and food, bathe her and wipe her feet, but you also have to observe her mental state and don’t let her get too lonely. She will be unhappy if she is scolded. You have to coax her occasionally, and observe whether she eats anything when you go out, and educate her tirelessly. You have to study the ingredient list of the food you feed her, and observe whether the dog food is suitable for her after eating it. Some dog food can cause Chuyi to have bad breath, deep tear troughs, a lot of eye mucus, smelly farts, and loose stools. Even if they are all Shiba Inus, dog food varies from dog to dog, and most of them are still being tested.

The troubles I experienced this month are:

1. Too much energy (solved, dog walking)

2. Lack of social training, can’t communicate with other dogs (in progress, petco puppy play)

3. Can’t find suitable dog food (in progress, searching for relevant information online)

4. Paws are worn out (solved, bought paw paste)

5. Started to chew furniture (solved, bought no bite spray and deer antlers)

6. Dog’s schedule is unstable (adjustment in progress)

7. Hair loss (so scary, can only endure it, and buy a roller to remove hair)
