“Going to the Doctor”

I made an appointment with the hospital a few days ago to check Nymeria’s red and swollen mouth this weekend.

But a typhoon came to Shanghai just before the weekend! This afternoon, it was really windy and rainy. I should stay at home on such a day! But for the health of the little one, I had to take a risk.

I put the little one in my bag and went out.

Since returning home at the end of last year, this is the first time Nymeria has taken a car to go out. She was not used to it on the way and vomited a little. When I arrived at the door of the clinic, I had to try my best to help her clean up, otherwise it would be embarrassing.

I put the little one on the examination table and described her condition. Halfway through, the nurse interrupted me and said, “Well… she peed…” Turning around, it was indeed true! It was diabetes insipidus, and the amount was almost endless. Everyone used four diapers to clean it up. After the examination, the girl said that if it was caused by fungi, similar symptoms should also appear in other parts of the body. However, my little one only had redness and swelling in the mouth, so it was thought that it was more likely to be allergic to food or tableware. To be on the safe side, I pulled out a few hairs from the affected area for testing, and the results showed that there was indeed no fungus. When the hair was pulled out, the little one was still very stubborn, and several people had to hold it down with their hands.

After that, she prescribed some antibiotics and antipruritic drugs for redness, swelling and inflammation, and asked me to replace the stainless steel tableware with ceramic ones to try. If it doesn’t get better after a week of medication, go for a follow-up visit. At this time, the little one ran to the door of the clinic and took a pile of poop, which was really embarrassing.

Although I drove carefully on the way home, I still vomited. After I got home, I mixed the medicine in the food and fed her a little. I hope she can get better soon!

“The Voyeur Party”

read the posts of other Shiba Inu owners and found that smart cameras are really good things. So I bought one and prepared to monitor and videotape Nymeria’s daily life.

At first, I set it up in the living room, but I found that she always ran out of the monitoring range. She probably liked to stay in the bedroom. So I moved it to the bedroom, but facing the bed… It always felt weird. Finally, I found that it was attached to the music stand in the corner of the bedroom. It was really good to shoot a small area where she liked to stay the most. Hehe, let’s do it this way for now! I finally

took a picture of a plank. Dogs love sports.

“Souvenir”

When Nymeria changed her teeth, she wanted to collect all the small milk teeth as a souvenir, but unfortunately she only picked up the smallest lower incisor. The others were probably eaten by her.

So I collected this only souvenir properly.

“Nymeria’s Little Friends”

After walking the dog in the community for a long time, I got to know some other puppies. Some of them said hello when I met them, and some of them would shake their heads and play for a while. Now Nymeria’s more familiar friends are: Corgi William and pastoral dog Selena. William’s owner has memorized the somewhat difficult name Nymeria, while Selina’s owner always calls her “Miss Nana”.

In addition to the little friends, there are also big bullies in the community. A pit bull once bit another puppy to death, and the owner often walks it without a leash. Our Nymeria has also been scared twice. I don’t want to play with this bad dog, hum!
