Shiba Inu has so many advantages.
2020.4.13 Update
Spring is here.
It has a really good temper and is never aggressive, so I feel safe letting it get along with the children.
2020.2.23 Update
First of all, thank you for liking Qiushi.
Many cute little ones reminded me that the dog’s behavior in the video is very dangerous. Let me explain it here. Although it looks like it is biting me, it is just barking and struggling, and it did not bite. Thank you for your concern.
In addition, it was still young (4 months old), so it was blown like this to play. It has not been like this since it grew up. Every dog has a different temper, so please don’t imitate it easily.
Qiushi has been very close to humans since he was a child, and has never been aggressive to anyone until now.
Because of the epidemic, Qiushi now lives in the countryside with his grandparents. He is much luckier than his friends in Beijing who can’t go out to play. He can run several kilometers every day, and his appetite has increased due to the large amount of exercise. He has gained a lot of weight.

As we all know, most Shiba Inus are not clingy, and Qiushi is no exception. But I always accidentally overdo my love, and I love to kiss and hug him.
Emmmm…he seems to be very troubled . The awkward period

———————-(some ramblings)———————-
Before raising a Shiba Inu, I always thought that I loved dogs regardless of breed. But after raising Qiushi, I found that Shiba Inus have too many advantages~~
First, the short hair is clean and easy to take care of. Although it sheds, (except for a few breeds such as poodles and Bichon Frise, all dogs shed hair) it is no problem if you comb it regularly.
Second, as a breed that is closer to the original dog breed, Shiba Inu is much luckier than those breeds that are deliberately bred according to human aesthetics. (Many bred breeds will bring congenital diseases or defects, such as bulldogs, etc.)
Third, it rarely barks, and almost never barks except when quarreling with other dogs. So much so that my father thought Qiushi was dumb for a long time…
Many people think that Shiba Inu is difficult to tame, and even say that novices should never raise it. In fact, I think it’s okay. Shiba Inu is smart, not disobedient, but it has its own ideas. For example, if you call it over and it doesn’t want to pay attention to you, it won’t go over (a bit like a cat). But it is still sensible and knows when it really needs to be obedient.
I don’t need it to master too many pleasing skills (only taught to sit down and shake hands). It has never been caged since it was a child, but it knows the rules and has never dismantled the house. It will not mess up the things on the coffee table even if no one is at home. Although it did cause some minor damage when it was young, such as rummaging through the trash can and biting the remote control, it will be fine after a few lessons. It never bumps into strangers when it goes out and will not scare children. (Some dogs are too enthusiastic and will jump on people when they see them. It will be troublesome if they meet someone who doesn’t like dogs)
I am not a professional dog trainer. I chose to raise a dog because I hope to let it live its life in the way it thinks is happiest and most comfortable. So under the premise of abiding by the most basic rules of human society, you can have fun as much as you want~
I will update it if anyone sees it~ A wink to the cute little brothers and sisters♡
