Most of the previous talks were about precautions and feeding experience. Now let me share some good and bad things.
There was a period of time when it rained for many days in a row. I kept it at home and didn’t pay much attention to it. When it didn’t rain, I threw oranges to it as usual, but it couldn’t catch them. I didn’t understand what happened at the time. After two or three days, it couldn’t catch them again. Then I found that its pupils began to turn white. I went to see a doctor immediately. The doctor said that it had caught a cold, and the dog itself had hepatitis brought from the mother, which caused the eyeballs to turn white. It needed injections, medication, and eye drops to relieve and get better. But in the end, its eyes didn’t get better, but it didn’t get worse. Now it has poor eyesight, and the middle of its eyeballs is white. Because it is used to the environment near home, it walks and jumps, but it stumbles when it walks for a while at the beginning, especially when it is taken out to urinate at night, sometimes it can’t find people when people stand in a very dark place. I regret this matter very much. I didn’t find it earlier. I hope that everyone who sees this will check and see a doctor immediately when they find this symptom in the future, and early detection and early treatment. Let me share another story. My friend has a husky, which was passed on to her by someone else. She treated it very well. There was a period of time when it was listless for two or three days and ignored people and kept lying down. Then it died suddenly two or three days later. I heard that it was because of severe hepatitis and died before it was discovered in time. Therefore, if you find something wrong with the dog at home, it is usually in the late stage and it will show up when it can’t hold on. If it is not checked and treated in time, it will be too late.
Our dog Coke has a very serious disease, which is epilepsy. The first symptoms appeared when he was more than one year old. One night it was quite cold. He was very excited to see me come home, but suddenly his whole body was paralyzed, his limbs were stiff, he couldn’t stand up, and he spit out transparent saliva. I thought he had eaten something poisoned, which scared me. Then one or two minutes later, he got better and stood up quietly as if nothing had happened just now. Later I checked on the Internet and it was indeed epilepsy. Later I found that it had four seizures so far. The most recent one was the night before yesterday. It was also very excited to see me coming home from work, so it collapsed on the ground and spit. At this time, don’t keep shaking it. Take a towel for it to bite, otherwise it will easily bite its tongue. Then don’t keep asking it to touch it. It will stand up by itself and will be fine. But after standing up, it looks very tired and hums, as if it is very uncomfortable. Epilepsy is a disease that cannot be cured. What we can do now is to try not to stimulate it and to watch it more.

Since its eyesight has been bad, its nose and memory have been very, very good. Tonight it has been sniffing around the whole house. I took out dog food for it, but it didn’t eat it. I took a toy for it, but it didn’t want it. Finally, it took out the steamed buns that my mother brought home for it. Its nose is too sharp.
Also, it has three toys now, two rubber toys and a ball. The toys fell under the steps and were covered by other things. It would keep going there to look for them. I called it back but it just wouldn’t come back. It has been looking for them there for several days. I thought it was looking for garbage and wanted to hit it. Later, I went to look for it and found that its toys had fallen in.
There is also a ball that it remembers where it is. It takes it with it every time it goes out. Then it pees and poops, and remembers to take it back when it comes back. I found that this guy is becoming a spirit.
Every time I wash, it will stand up and lie on the sink to look at me. It’s very funny.
Our Coke was chosen wrong from the beginning. It has a bad health, hoofs, calcium deficiency, hepatitis, and epilepsy. So after knowing these, I want to treat it better, give it a better environment, and not abandon it.
She is very good at reading people’s faces. When everyone is around, she only looks for me and only lets me play with her. Every day I touch her, give her good food and drink, and even when I go to the toilet and take a bath, she will lie at the door waiting for me. Now she is six or seven years old, she doesn’t make many mistakes. Even if she does, I won’t really hit her. I’ll just hit her with a towel to let her know she’s wrong. But when teaching her what not to do, I have to catch her in the act. It’s better to punish her when she’s caught rummaging through the trash can, instead of punishing her later, otherwise she won’t know what she did wrong.
I am a very open-minded person. When we meet, I treat our relationship very well. When we leave, I tell myself to take it lightly when the relationship ends. Meeting is fate. Whether it’s meeting with people or meeting with dogs, we should cherish it.
Many people don’t understand why I’m so good to dogs. In fact, I’m not only so good to dogs, I’m also very good to people. I just tell myself that I’ve tried my best. If I lose, don’t blame myself for not being sure.
Insects and plants may not understand pain because their lives are too short, so short that they don’t need these things for a while. The reason why people are sad and painful is because our lives are long. We have lived for so long, but in the end we can only recall a few things.
If you have brought it in, you should treat it well. Golden Retrievers are very spiritual, and they will definitely not let you down.
I also hope that you will not let it down. After all, you will become everything in its life.
